Soccer Recap: Eureka Takes a Loss

Eureka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the Rockwood Summit Falcons. While losing is never fun, Eureka can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Rockwood Summit are ranked 35th).

Eureka's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Rockwood Summit, they moved to 10-9 with that victory, which also ended their six-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, Eureka will take on Farmington at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Farmington's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Rockwood Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
