Recap: Dudley Panthers vs. West Iredell Warriors

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Dudley Panthers walked away with it. They took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 63-14 victory over West Iredell. The win was just business as usual for Dudley, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.

Andrew Attmore II was his usual excellent self, throwing for 334 yards and four touchdowns while completing 93.8% of his passes. Jayden Brown was another key contributor, rushing for 60 yards and two touchdowns.

Dudley's victory was their sixth straight at home , which pushed their record up to 11-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-10 Southern Guilford and 1-9 High Point Central (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 35.6% over those games). As for West Iredell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Dudley will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Davidson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Dudley is ranked 28th). West Iredell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
