Volleyball Recap: St. Xavier Comes Up Short

St. Xavier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Wakefield Bombers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bombers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12.

St. Xavier's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Wakefield, their win ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 3-19-1.

St. Xavier has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Cornerstone Family on the 14th. As for Wakefield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Solomon on the 11th.
