Baseball Game Preview: Burlingame Panthers vs. King's Academy Knights

For the second straight game, Burlingame will face off against King's Academy. The Panthers will face off against the Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Burlingame is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Burlingame and King's Academy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Panthers fell 6-3 to the Knights on Wednesday. Panthers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Knights since on Wednesday.

For King's Academy's part, the team relied heavily on Nate Plata, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Myung, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

King's Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive contests.

Burlingame's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for King's Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
