Baseball Recap: Chester Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chester). They never let the Liberty Indians get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Hambletonians with their most commanding win of the season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Chester, bringing their record up to 5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Liberty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Chester will square off against Sullivan West at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Liberty, they will take on Beacon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
