Baseball Recap: Waterloo Pirates vs. New Glarus Glarner Knights
Waterloo extended their losing streak to ten on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 3-15 in the process. They lost 13-3 to the New Glarus Glarner Knights. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 6-3 to the Glarner Knights when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Waterloo saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shea Sellnow, who went 3-for-4 with one run. Another was Jacob Gier, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
As for New Glarus, their record is now 10-7. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Those three RBI gave Julseth a new career-high. Kamm Nehmer was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs.
