Basketball Recap: Brush Takes a Loss

Brush was the 63-52 winner over Regis Groff when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Beetdiggers came up short against the Fusion on Thursday, falling 68-46.

Regis Groff was led to victory by Javaree Paris and James Murdock. Paris dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards, while Murdock posted 21 points and five rebounds. With that strong performance, Paris is now averaging an impressive 8.3 boards per game. Another player making a difference was Javelle Taylor, who had seven points and eight rebounds.

Brush now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Regis Groff, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
