Game recap: Cascade Christian High School Football Team bests Scio

MEDFORD, Ore. - Cascade Christian (Medford, Ore.) snapped Scio (Ore.)'s 11-game winning streak, with a 29-14 victory on Saturday.

The Challengers were up 19-14 at the half after taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the second quarter.

Cascade Christian expanded its lead to eight points entering the fourth quarter. CC's lone score in the quarter came on a field goal.

With the win the Medford school extended its winning streak to 13 games. The Challengers defeated the Billies 52-13 last week.

Brandon Williams was the top performer for Cascade Christian. The senior ran for one touchdown.



The Loggers' Nathan Jones played well. The senior running back ran for one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to 30 on the year.

CC went into the matchup giving up only 6.8 points per game. The 14 points that Scio ended with were well below its average of 43.8 coming into the game.

The defeat comes as a step back for Scio, which notched a 30-21 victory over Rainier in its previous outing.
