Meanwhile, Georgiana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Monroe County, falling 25-13. On the bright side, the 13- run performance marked the Panthers' highest-scoring match to date.

Calhoun's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Georgiana, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
