Basketball Recap: Excel Christian Gets the Win

Excel Christian had to endure a four-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 1-0 win over the Beatty Hornets.

Excel Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Beatty, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Excel Christian has already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Bishop Union on the 7th. As for Beatty, they will square off against Word of Life Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
