The Clinton Red Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Blacksburg Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Clinton's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last six contests.

On Friday, Clinton took their game with ease, bagging a 56-14 win over Landrum. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-7.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Blacksburg took on Landrum last Friday. The Wildcats walked away with a 14-6 victory over the Cardinals.

Clinton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.0 points over those games. Blacksburg's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Clinton against Blacksburg in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 61-14 win. In that game, the Red Devils amassed a halftime lead of 28-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
