Baseball Game Preview: Mesa Vista Trojans vs. Mora Rangers/Rangerettes

Mesa Vista is 0-10 against Mora since April of 2016 but things could change on Saturday. The Trojans will square off against the Rangers/Rangerettes at 2:00 p.m. Mesa Vista has given up an average of 19.1 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mesa Vista's offense. They came up short against McCurdy on Tuesday, falling 19-0. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Meanwhile, Mora lost 17-5 to McCurdy on Thursday. The Rangers/Rangerettes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mesa Vista's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Mora, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Mesa Vista couldn't quite get it done against Mora in their previous matchup back in April as they fell 8-5. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
