Football Recap: Sage Creek Takes a Loss

Sage Creek lost against Ramona back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bobcats lost 33-7 to the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 500th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 243rd).

Sage Creek's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Ramona, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sage Creek will head out to square off against San Diego at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ramona, they will venture away from home to take on Del Norte at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bulldogs 12.1, the Nighthawks 11.9) so any points scored will be well earned.
