Newton Local barely beat Southeastern Local the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians blew past the Trojans 12-2 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won ten contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Newton Local is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Southeastern Local, their loss was their 11th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-20.

As of now, neither Newton Local nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
