Baseball Recap: San Elizario Takes a Loss

San Elizario was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fabens Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 on April 4th.

San Elizario's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Fabens, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

While San Elizario had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
