Baseball Preview: Hillside Hornets vs. Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs

The Hillside Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hillside is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

Hillside had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 12-7 win over Eno River on Tuesday. The victory was just what Hillside needed coming off of a 14-1 defeat in their prior game.

Julian Hall tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. Evan Marciniak relieved him and did a solid job, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (he also only allowed one walk).
