Volleyball Recap: Red Bank Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Red Bank took on Hixson on Thursday. The Lions fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The Lions have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Red Bank wouldn't go down easily and took Hixson into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-10, 25-19, 21-25, 15-8.

Ava Berry paced Red Bank's offense, picking up seven kills. Berry got some help from Kenadi Baughman and her 15 assists. Brooklyn Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Red Bank's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Hixson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

Coming up, Red Bank will face off against East Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hixson, they will square off against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
