Jeff Davis waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 56-48 victory over the Brantley County Herons. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Herons on January 11th, they had to take a 61-44 loss.

Jeff Davis got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Latrell Sellers out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 boards. Sellers has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Malachi Smith was another key player, putting up 15 points along with six boards and four steals.

Jeff Davis pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Brantley County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.
