Basketball Recap: Oakdale Comes Up Short

Oakdale suffered their closest defeat since January 16th on Friday. They fell just short of the Frederick Cadets by a score of 51-48. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Frederick this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-52 back in January.

Oakdale's loss dropped their record down to 18-2. As for Frederick, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Coming up, Oakdale will square off against Arundel on Wednesday. Oakdale is facing Arundel at the right time seeing as Arundel is stuck on a 20-game losing streak. As for Frederick, they will challenge Riverdale Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
