Basketball Game Preview: Fairfield Christian Academy Knights vs. Delaware Christian Eagles

The Fairfield Christian Academy Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Delaware Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fairfield Christian Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Delaware Christian will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Fairfield Christian Academy sidestepped Berne Union for a 54-52 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Meanwhile, Delaware Christian fought the good fight in their overtime game against Liberty Christian Academy on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Eagles 48-43.

Fairfield Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Delaware Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Fairfield Christian Academy couldn't quite finish off Delaware Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 and fell 37-35. Can Fairfield Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
