On Saturday, O'Connor faced Desert Vista in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The O'Connor Eagles fell just short of the Desert Vista Thunder by a score of 2-1. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

O'Connor's goal came courtesy of Jordan Lavery, who's now up to ten this season.

O'Connor's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Desert Vista, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
