North Forsyth faced Harrison in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Raiders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hoyas, sneaking past 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won five matchups in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day North Forsyth got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 15-7.

Despite the defeat, Harrison had strong showings from Addison Cooley, who had 17 digs and three assists, and Emma Gallegos, who had 13 digs. Cooley has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played. Addie Rose Nichols also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

North Forsyth's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Harrison, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.

North Forsyth has already played their next contest (against North Oconee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Harrison, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Wesleyan on the 23rd.
