Recap: Prince of Peace Eagles vs. Cornerstone Christian Academy Warriors
This season hasn't been kind to the Prince of Peace Eagles, who are still winless after their fourth match. They took a hard 55-36 fall against Cornerstone Christian Academy on Tuesday. Prince of Peace has not had much luck with Cornerstone Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Maddye Hornsby continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Cornerstone Christian Academy, scoring 28 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hornsby has scored at least 25% of Cornerstone Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Thomas, who scored 4 points along with 12 rebounds and 7 assists.
Prince of Peace's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
