Softball Recap: Climax-Scotts Takes a Loss

Climax-Scotts managed to slip by Mendon the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 18-3 to the Hornets on Tuesday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Climax-Scotts saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addi Dzwik, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Natalie Smith also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Climax-Scotts' defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Mendon, their record is now 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Climax-Scotts will face off against Burr Oak at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mendon, they will square off against Colon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
