Football Game Preview: Wyandotte Bears vs. Kansas Comets

Wyandotte and Kansas are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Bears will venture away from home to challenge the Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wyandotte will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Wyandotte will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Colcord, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. The Bears put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 38-14 win on Friday. Considering the Bears have won three games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Hunter White continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 83 yards and five scores, while also throwing for 276 yards on 16 of 34 attempts. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024.

Meanwhile, Kansas lost 42-21 to Keys on Friday. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kansas' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Wyandotte, their record is now 4-0.

Wyandotte and Kansas were almost perfectly matched up in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but Wyandotte suffered an agonizing 21-20 loss. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
