Football Game Preview: Kanab Cowboys vs. Grand County Red Devils

The Kanab Cowboys will take on the Grand County Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kanab has six straight victories, Grand County has 17 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Kanab needed a bit of extra time to put away Duchesne. They walked away with a 35-28 win over the Eagles. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Cowboys were the better team in the second half.

Kanab didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kolton Blomquist and Ozzy Williams.

Meanwhile, Grand County had to suffer through a 42-6 loss at the hands of Delta.

Kanab's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Grand County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
