Volleyball Recap: Roncalli Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Addison Manis and Erin Panosh

Roncalli lost against Cedar Grove-Belgium back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Jets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15.

Despite the defeat, Roncalli had strong showings from Erin Panosh, who had 12 digs and three aces, and Addison Manis, who had eight assists. Panosh has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Cedar Grove-Belgium can attribute much of their success to Jolie Bialzik, who had 12 assists and ten digs.

Roncalli has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Cedar Grove-Belgium, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Roncalli and Cedar Grove-Belgium will both be playing Kohler the next time they take the court. The Jets will head out to face the Blue Bombers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Rockets will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
