Scotts Valley has gone  a perfect 10-0 against Harbor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Thursday. The Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pirates  at 4:30  p.m. The timing is sure in Scotts Valley's favor as the  team sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Harbor has been banged up by 11 consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.
On Tuesday, Scotts Valley came up short against Aptos  and fell  8-4.
  Jazzy Doubek was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Gigi Gauthier, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Harbor's offense. They came up short against  Santa Cruz on Tuesday, falling  11-0.
 Scotts Valley's  loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-4. As for Harbor, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
Harbor's hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Thursday. Scotts Valley has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7.2  strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Harbor, though, as  they've been averaging  only 2.4  strikeouts. Will Scotts Valley keep running through batters, or will the Pirates buck the trend?
 Scotts Valley took their  win against Harbor  in their previous meeting  back in March by a conclusive  12-0 score. Do  the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
