For the second straight game, Lake Fenton will face off against Brandon. The Blue Devils will challenge the Blackhawks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Fenton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.

While Lake Fenton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Brandon on Monday as they made off with an 11-1 win. Considering the Blue Devils have won four games by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Charlie Rubey spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lake Fenton got a massive performance out of Bradley Gregory, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Fray, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Lake Fenton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2-1. As for Brandon, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Lake Fenton has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Brandon struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
