Basketball Recap: Grace Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

Grace Baptist Academy lost against Boyd-Buchanan back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Grace Baptist Academy Golden Eagles were outmatched by the Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers and fell 92-38. While losing is never fun, the Golden Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 315th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 53rd).

Grace Baptist Academy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6. As for Boyd-Buchanan, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Collegedale Academy the next time they take the court. Boyd-Buchanan will head out to face Collegedale Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Grace Baptist Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 13th.
