Volleyball Game Preview: Lena-Winslow Panthers vs. Pearl City Wolves

The Lena-Winslow Panthers will take on the Pearl City Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Lena-Winslow is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Fulton just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Steamers.

Meanwhile, Pearl City came up short against Orangeville on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

Pearl City was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 31-29.

Lena-Winslow will need to focus on slowing down Scarlett Snyder, one of several Pearl City players who made an impact when they last played. She had ten digs and three assists. Aubrey Allen also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Pearl City's defeat dropped their record down to 15-17-2. As for Lena-Winslow, their loss dropped their record down to 20-14.
