Volleyball Recap: Fostoria Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Waite on Wednesday, Fostoria came back down to earth. The Redmen lost 3-0 to the Rossford Bulldogs on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Fostoria was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Fostoria lost, don't look at Amaiyah Rodriquez. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs, three blocks, and two aces.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rossford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cali Adams, who had 14 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Adams has posted over her last five matchups. Cece Weaks was another key player, getting nine digs and two aces.

Fostoria's defeat was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Rossford, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-12.

Fostoria didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Toledo Christian on the 4th. As for Rossford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Scott on the 6th.
