Tolono Unity and St. Teresa are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2018, but not for long. The Rockets will face off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Teresa took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Tolono Unity, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Tolono Unity beat St. Joseph-Ogden 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rockets.

Tolono Unity not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept St. Joseph-Ogden between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16.

Meanwhile, St. Teresa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Shelbyville. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

St. Teresa might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Shelbyville: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-24.

Tolono Unity will have to contain Elia Smith as she made an impact in St. Teresa's last game. She had six digs and two aces. Sophia Koester also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

St. Teresa's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Tolono Unity, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Tolono Unity beat St. Teresa 2-0 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
