Marion kept a clean sheet against AGWSR on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Cougars. Give Marion's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Marion's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four matchups. As for AGWSR, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-5.

Marion wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against South Hardin on the 28th. AGWSR does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
