Baseball Preview: Appomattox County Raiders vs. Chatham Cavaliers
The Appomattox County Raiders will head out to take on the Chatham Cavaliers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Appomattox County will be strutting in after a victory while Chatham will be coming in after a defeat.
Appomattox County took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Nelson County by a score of 5-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
Isaac Records looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.
