Volleyball Recap: West Boca Raton's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

After losing to St. John Paul II Academy the last time they met, West Boca Raton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The West Boca Raton Bulls were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the St. John Paul II Academy Eagles on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Bulls, who have now won three games in a row.

West Boca Raton never let St. John Paul II Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-23, 25-21.

West Boca Raton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maurice Sharaby out in front who had 19 assists. That's the most assists Sharaby has posted over his last seven contests. Sebastian Ochoa also deserves some recognition as he served his first aces of the season.

The win got West Boca Raton back to even at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Boca Raton will be taking part in a tournament against Cardinal Gibbons at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. John Paul II Academy, they will square off against West Boca Raton at 4:30 p.m. on March 18th.
