Volleyball Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss

Anderson saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the DeKalb Barons by a score of 2-1. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Anderson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-11, 15-10.

Anderson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for DeKalb, they moved to 7-19 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

Anderson and DeKalb could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Indians will take on Greenfield-Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (352 vs. 124). Meanwhile, DeKalb (ranked 266th) will meet Woodlan (ranked 67th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
