Softball Recap: Ragsdale Comes Up Short

After flying high against Western Guilford on Friday, Ragsdale came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 15-2 to the Southeast Guilford Falcons on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent loss being a 16-1 defeat on April 4th.

Ragsdale saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Jet Cuthrell, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Ragsdale has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. As for Southeast Guilford, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-5.

Ragsdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southeast Guilford, they have already played their next contest, a 12-2 defeat against Northern Guilford on the 30th.
