Softball Recap: North Salinas Takes a Loss

North Salinas saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Westmont Warriors by a score of 5-4.

North Salinas' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Westmont, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Salinas will host Rancho San Juan at 3:30 p.m. on March 10th. North Salinas' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Rancho San Juan's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Westmont, they will welcome Gunn at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
