            Softball Recap: New Hope Indians vs. Pisgah Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            New Hope was the  8-7 winner over Pisgah when they last played one another  back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell just short of the Eagles by a score of  8-7 on Tuesday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

  Ella Baswell was cooking despite her team's loss,   going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run. She has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  home run the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Hayley Parker, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs.
New Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 15-22-1. As for Pisgah, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-10.
 New Hope wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  match,  a  10-6  win against Skyline on the 17th. As for Pisgah, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  9-6  victory against Geraldine on the 18th.
