Baseball Recap: Lincoln Lutheran Comes Up Short

If Lincoln Lutheran was riding high fresh off their 11-1 takedown of Holdrege on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the Roncalli Catholic Lions on Friday, falling 9-3.

Gavin Cornell was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run.

Lincoln Lutheran's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6. As for Roncalli Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-12.

As of now, neither Lincoln Lutheran nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
