Eastbrook piles up the points against Madison-Grant

Recap: Eastbrook Panthers vs. Madison-Grant Argylls

The Eastbrook Panthers can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They blew past Madison-Grant 81-22 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Eastbrook as they're now sitting on 13 straight.

Sophia Morrison continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and 7 assists. Another player making a difference was Olivia Howell, who scored 17 points along with five steals.

Madison-Grant's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Katie Stowers, who scored eight points along with two blocks.

Eastbrook pushed their record up to 19-1 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Madison-Grant, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastbrook will take on Adams Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Adams Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Eastbrook is ranked 39th). As for Madison-Grant, they will play host again and welcome Alexandria-Monroe, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alexandria-Monroe will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
