Betsy Layne lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cameron Pente, who posted 14 points and five assists. Ethan Lance was another key player, going 5 of 6 en route to 11 points and five boards.

Betsy Layne's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Lawrence County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-6.
