Softball Recap: Central A & M Raiders vs. Shelbyville Rams
Central A & M can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Shelbyville Rams as the Central A & M Raiders made off with a 12-2 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Central A & M needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.
Gwyn Hardimon was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). Hardimon was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Kayla McPeak was incredible, going 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. Another player making a difference was Holly Paradee, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and a double.
