Volleyball Recap: Lancaster Baptist Eagles vs. Desert Christian Knights
Lancaster Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Desert Christian Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
Lancaster Baptist took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-23.
Desert Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Danna Guardado out in front who had ten digs and one assist. Sophia Talley was another key player, getting six digs and three aces.
Lancaster Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Desert Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5-1 record this season.
