Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Academy Comes Up Short

St. Mary's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Tualatin Timberwolves and fell 72-9. While losing is never fun, the Blues can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Timberwolves are ranked second).

St. Mary's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Tualatin, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Mary's Academy has already played their next contest (against Tigard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tualatin will host West Linn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
