Softball Recap: Middleton Vikings vs. Skyview Hawks
Middleton won the last time they faced Skyview and things went their way on Thursday too. The Vikings came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hawks, sneaking past 8-7. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by just one run.
Libby Garcia looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Middleton let Kenadi Whitlow and Sadie Stafford run wild. Whitlow went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Stafford went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI Stafford has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ashlynn Pohl, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
