Croswell-Lexington took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Port Huron, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Pioneers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Red Hawks 4-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 21, 2021, but that streak is no more.

The win got Croswell-Lexington back to even at 3-3. As for Port Huron, they dropped their record down to 5-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
