Baseball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

Concord lost to Justin-Siena back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears fell 6-1 to the Braves.

Concord got a good showing from Hunter Wasserman, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Wasserman has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

Concord has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Justin-Siena, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Concord will head out on the road to take on Berean Christian at 4:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Justin-Siena, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Bragg at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
