Softball Recap: Minerva Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Minerva's offense. They fell just short of the Mogadore Wildcats by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.

Gabby Kashdan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up eight Ks.

Minerva's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mogadore, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Minerva beat the Wildcats by a score of 10-5 later that day.
